Platform Technology Model
Zrido is a technology intermediary platform, not a transportation service provider. The Zrido mobile application, website, and related services are operated by Kalmbyte Technologies Private Limited, a company registered under the Companies Act, 2013.
The Platform facilitates connections between users seeking transportation services ("Riders") and independent third-party transportation service providers ("Drivers"). Zrido functions as an Information Technology (IT) Intermediary as defined under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and claims the safe harbour protections available under Section 79 of the said Act and Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Not a Transportation Service Provider
Kalmbyte Technologies Private Limited:
- Does not own, operate, lease, or manage any vehicles used on the Platform.
- Does not employ, hire, or engage Drivers as employees, agents, or servants.
- Does not control the manner, means, route, or quality of Transportation Services provided by Drivers.
- Does not hold or guarantee any transport license, permit, or operating certificate on behalf of Drivers.
- Is not a party to the contract of carriage between the Rider and the Driver.
Any claims arising from the provision of Transportation Services — including but not limited to accidents, delays, injuries, death, property damage, or misconduct — are matters between the Rider and the Driver, and Kalmbyte has no legal liability therefor except as expressly stated in the Terms & Conditions.

The information published on the Zrido website (zrido.com), mobile application, marketing materials, and blog is provided for general informational purposes only. While Kalmbyte makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and currency of information, we make no warranties or representations — express or implied — about the:
- Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on the Platform.
- Fitness of the information for any particular purpose.
- Currency of the information (content may not reflect the most recent developments).
Kalmbyte reserves the right to modify, update, or remove any information on the Platform at any time without notice.
Fare Estimates Disclaimer
Fare estimates displayed before and during the booking process are estimates only, based on historical data, current traffic conditions, distance calculations, and demand levels. Actual fares may differ from estimates due to:
- Route changes requested by the Rider or necessitated by road conditions.
- Actual traffic delays resulting in higher time-based charges.
- Waiting time charges accrued at pickup.
- Changes in surge pricing between booking and ride completion.
- Tolls, parking fees, or state levies not factored into the initial estimate.
Kalmbyte is not responsible for differences between estimated and actual fares. The final fare shown at trip completion is the authoritative amount.
Third-Party Links & Services
The Zrido Platform may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services (including payment gateways, map providers, analytics tools, and advertising networks). These links are provided for convenience only.
Kalmbyte does not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to those third parties' own terms and privacy policies.
Driver Verification Disclaimer
Zrido conducts verification checks on Driver Partners during onboarding, which may include:
- Driving license verification via the Parivahan Sewa portal (Government of India).
- Vehicle registration check.
- Review of submitted KYC documents (PAN, Aadhaar, etc.).
- Police verification where mandated by state government regulations.
However, Kalmbyte cannot guarantee the authenticity of all submitted documents, the accuracy of police verification records, or the future behavior of any Driver. Background verification is a diligence measure, not a guarantee of safety or character.
Kalmbyte is not liable for any act, omission, or misconduct by a Driver, whether or not such conduct relates to their role as a Driver Partner on the Platform.
Safety Disclaimer
While Zrido implements industry-standard safety features including real-time trip tracking, emergency SOS button, ride sharing, and in-app calling, these features are supplementary safety tools and are not a substitute for personal safety judgment and precautions.
Kalmbyte does not guarantee your safety during a ride and is not responsible for any safety incident that occurs during or in connection with a ride. Riders are encouraged to:
- Share their trip details with a trusted contact.
- Verify the Driver's name, photo, and vehicle number before entering the vehicle.
- Use the in-app SOS feature in any emergency.
- Contact emergency services (Police: 100 / Women's Helpline: 1091) immediately in a life-threatening situation.
Platform Availability & Uptime
Kalmbyte does not warrant that the Zrido Platform will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled or emergency maintenance.
- Third-party infrastructure failures (cloud, telecom, payment gateways).
- Force majeure events including natural disasters, government orders, cyberattacks, or internet disruptions.
Kalmbyte shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from Platform unavailability or downtime.

Statements on the Zrido website or in communications regarding future plans, expansion, features, partnerships, or financial projections are forward-looking statements based on current plans and expectations. These statements involve risks and uncertainties and should not be relied upon as guarantees of future performance. Governing Law
This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes relating to the matters described in this Disclaimer shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of Zrido's Terms & Conditions, including binding arbitration in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
If any provision of this Disclaimer is found to be unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
